My Thoughts:Ĭlearly, Toss Your Cookies is not exactly a serious game. They also could use their wild card (the card on the left) as one of the five cookies if needed. This player has gathered five of the same type of cookie and the milk, which is what they need to win the game.

In all cases, the player who loses the milk card gets to pick a random card from it’s new owner. When a “toss” and glass of milk is rolled, whoever currently has the milk card must toss it into the center of the playing area and the player who grabs it first gets it. If the swap is rolled but the dice roller already has the milk, no action is performed. If the swap is rolled, whoever has the milk card must swap it with the player who rolled the dice. If the action dice is a pass left or right, the player who has the milk card must pass it to the player on their left or right. Depending on what was rolled on the action dice, the milk card (even if the roller doesn’t have it) is moved in some way. However, two of the sides show a glass of milk. If you roll an “all,” your entire hand is swapped, passed, or tossed. If you roll a one, two, or three you swap, pass left or right, or toss that amount. Most of the sides on the amount dice are pretty self-explanatory. If someone ends up with less than seven cards, they determine who has the extra card and can look at and take whatever card they want from their hand. For toss, players can only grab an amount of cards that will bring them back to a seven card hand. The possible actions you can roll include swap (you choose any player and swap the number of cards indicated by the other die with that player), pass left (all players pass however many cards the other dice says to the player on their left), pass right (the same only to the player on your right), and toss (all players toss the number of cards indicated by the die face up onto the table and after a count of three everybody grabs the cards they want). One of the dice decides the action the roller will take (from here on referred to as the action dice), while the other (which I call the amount dice) indicates how many or which cards are affected (1, 2, 3, all, or just the milk card). On each turn, the current player rolls both dice and does the action indicated by the roll. The game starts with the player who most recently ate a home-baked cookie and play continues to the left. Each player should select seven cards and put them into their hands (no cards should be left on the table once this is completed). Add in the milk card and the correct amount of wild cards and half-eaten cookies and mix up all the cards you are playing with.Īfter all of the cards have been added, turn them all face down and thoroughly mix them up on the table.

One half-eaten cookie card is added for a three or four player game, two for a five or six player game, three for a seven player game, and four for a full eight player game.įor setup, sort all of the different cookies into separate stacks and have each player pick out one type to play with.

For the wild cards, add one for a three player game, two for a four or five player game, and three for all other sized games. Before you mix up the cards, also add the milk card and a certain amount of wild cards and half-eaten cookie cards based on the number of players. Unused cookie cards are placed back in the box. Four player games will have four different types of cookies, six player games will have six different cookie card types, etc. Then, every player selects a type of cookie card (there are eight total types of cookies in the game) that they want to play with (unless you are playing with eight players, in which case all cards are used). First, sort the cookie cards into stacks according to type of cookie. Cards are passed, swapped, and tossed up for grabs based on the roll of the dice until someone has the six cards they need to win.Īs usual, Toss Your Cookies begins with setup.
